I'm ready to start creating videos - How do I get started?
We're glad to hear you're ready to get started! That's awesome. To finish out the onboarding process, we'll find out which package you're interested in, and then send over a contract agreement and invoice for the first period. Once the agreement is set, we'll have a kickoff meeting to talk about your social video goals, ideas for the next few months, and things we want to accomplish. Then we'll start scheduling your first shoot!
On initial signup, we require a 3-month period for Snack Pack, 4-month period for Party Pack, and 3-month period for Jet Pack. After that, we don't require any long-term commitments, but our products do have cycles, and your plan can be modified or cancelled at the end of any cycle. The cycle for Snack Pack is 3 months, for Party Pack 2 months, and for Jet Pack it's 1 month.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You do not! We will have a contract in place but it's not long term. On initial signup, we require a minimum 3-month commitment for Snack Pack, 4-month commitment for Party Pack, and 2-month commitment for Jet Pack. After that, our products have cycles, and your plan can be modified or cancelled at the end of any cycle. The cycle for Snack Pack is 3 months, for Party Pack 2 months, and for Jet Pack it's 1 month. However, if you pay annually for the year instead of month-to-month, there is a 10% discount.
Where do you operate?
Currently, these packages are only available in the Greater Nashville market, approximately a 30-minute radius of the city. This would extend approximately west to Lebanon, south to Murfreesboro/Thompson's Station, west to Kingston Springs/Fairview, North to Pleasant View/Gallatin - if you're uncertain but close to this range feel free to reach out!
I don't see a package that fits my needs. Can I customize them?
Yes! Packages can be customized. Contact us for a custom quote.
What are some common add-on items?
Some common add-on items are:
-Extra length of production time on site
-Longer length of video edit
-More video edits
-Custom graphics package
-Use video for more purposes than social media
These add-ons don't have to be added to your overall subscription, they can be utilized as needed!
How do you decide what to film?
In our initial kickoff meeting, we'll talk over ideas for your videos over the coming months. Most videos fall into one of two categories - Presented Videos, and Graphic Videos. Presented Videos are based around an interview, hearing from someone at your company. Typically these videos relate to your backstory, your customers, or your expertise in your profession. Graphic Videos are based around a montage of footage with text graphics on screen. They can cover the same topics as Presented Videos, or they can relay announcements, how-tos, recipes, and more. The best way to get a grasp of your videos is to check out our gallery of samples.
How do I schedule my video shoots?
For Jet Pack users, we'll set a specific date each month for your shoots. It can be flexible as we go along, but it will give us a starting point for making sure that your shoots go off every month without a hitch. For Snack and Party Pack users, we'll reach out for your availability as it nears time for your next shoot. Each shoot will have a 30-day window in which it must be scheduled. If shoots are not scheduled within that window, they do not roll over into the next month.
I scheduled a shoot, but something came up. Can I reschedule?
Absolutely! We just ask for 3 or more days' notice for the reschedule. For shoots rescheduled within 72 hours, a rescheduling fee of $50 for Snack Pack and Party Pack users will apply, or $200 for Jet Pack users. We charge this fee because by that point we have prepared equipment and personnel, and blocked off the date for your project, and we will have to do the same once we reschedule for the new date.
Where can I use my videos?
Snack Pack and Party Pack subscribers are cleared to use their videos on the following websites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, MySpace, and (only as an advertisement in pre-roll content) YouTube. With the package, it is not permitted to upload to YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Yelp, or to host on your own website. Broadcast, DVD/Bluray distribution, use on streaming services such as Netflix/Hulu are also not permitted. To use your video on any of these, please contact us for a custom fee per video depending on where it will be used.

How is Social Pack different from Pack Films?
Social Pack is a product that Pack Films offers to solve a need in the community - subscription videos for companies and brands to use on social media. Pack Films produces many types of video such as commercials, to live events, customer testimonials, and more. Many of these videos are not linked to an ongoing subscription and encompass things beyond the scope of Social Pack (scriptwriting, casting, hair and makeup, props, custom animation, etc.).
